Dr. Timothy M. Jones Sr., PhD

THE BIRTHING
Timothy M. Jones Sr. is a native of Chicago, Illinois, born October 10, 1980. Truly from his youth he has exemplified a love and passion for Christ and the Church. A satanic attempt was made on his life at the age of four. A tragic accident put him in a body cast and wheelchair for several months. Yet, even through this trial, you could find four year old Timothy waving his "preachers handkerchief" and singing "God Is A Good God."
At the age of six he received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior under the leadership of Rev. Mother Consuella York at The Christ Way Missionary Baptist Church. Through her ministry Timothy's future ministry was being formed. As he always states, "I thank God for my foundation and my start."
THE MINISTRY
At thirteen, Timothy was called into the Gospel Ministry and preached his first sermon at The Christ Way Missionary Baptist Church in August of 1994. Mother York, being a woman of great vision, saw his great potential released Timothy to unite with the United Holiness Church, where he would continue his training and receive mentoring, and fathering under the guidance of Pastor William A. Spann Sr. Under Pastor Spann's direction Timothy obtained his Ministerial License and was ordained to preach the Gospel. Timothy, a young "fireball", was cultivated and prepared for his Kingdom Assignment under this ministry and given many assignments and served in varied capacities that would cultivate his talents and skills for the work that God had ordained for him to do.
Scripture began to be fulfilled where God said, "It is not good for man to be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." On May 6, 2000, God joined Pastor Timothy M. Jones Sr. to his lovely wife Jone’ D. Williams in Holy Matrimony. As the two became one, seeking God in the fullness of pleasing Him, the Lord has exalted them higher. This union is blessed with five children: Tatiyonna, Timothy Jr., Takia, Taliyah and Taylor. Dr. Jones is a loving , caring, devoted father and husband who believes in focusing on and spending quality time with his family. While serving as a Senior Leader, and Overseer, Dr. Jones and Lady Jone’ Jones have also become successful entrepreneurs of several business entities.
THE PASTOR
Since 2004, Dr. Jones has served as a Senior Pastor. He is the Founder and Senior Leader of Remnant Empowerment Center "The Couch Experience", affectionately known as “REMNation” of Blue Island, Illinois. This ministry is dedicated to attending to the needs of the lost as well as the body of Christ; a ministry that has set out to equip, train and develop the Body of Christ to advance the Kingdom of God. REMNation is a vibrant and radical ministry that recognizes that God wants us to live the Kingdom lifestyle. Dr. Jones being a constant student who has a love for God’s Word continues his ministry through education.
Dr. Jones holds degrees in the following fields of study:
Bachelors of Arts in Christian Education, Master of Arts in Urban Community Development, Master of Divinity, Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Philosophy in Theology, Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling, Doctor of Theology from Destiny Christian University, The Open Arms Bible College & Seminary, and Hope Bible Institute & Seminary. Dr. Jones believes that it’s not your level of education, certifications and degrees that makes you effective, but it is education coupled with the anointing, for it is the anointing that makes the difference.
As of 2013, Dr. Timothy M. Jones Sr. serve as President, CEO and Board Chairman of Open Arms International Bible College and Seminary. Open Arms International Bible College and Seminary is a fully accredited College founded in 1990 by the late Dr. Jerry Herron.
Dr. Jones also serves as Founder, President & CEO of Remnant Theological Institute & Seminary which is also a fully accredited school of theology.
In 2013, Dr. Jones was consecrated Bishop and later affirmed Apostle in the Lord's Church.
Dr. Jones is the Apostolic Presider of Kingdom Covenant Churches Inc., a Network of Churches, Ministries, and Para Ministries.
As of February 2024, Dr. Jones launched Remnant Global Network and serves as the Metropolitan Apostle to the Apostolic, Episcopal, and Ecclesiastical order.
THE CONTINUATION .........
Dr. Jones has ministered in many Crusades, Revivals, Conventions, Conferences and Convocations throughout the United States. He has been blessed and afforded the opportunity to minister the word of God in line-ups with some awesome prognosticators of the gospel. Dr. Jones has an awesome preaching, teaching, singing, prophetic and deliverance ministry. Under the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, he is continuing to operate in the fullness and supernatural move of God. Souls are saved, minds transformed, and the captives are set free through the preaching of the unadulterated Word of God.
